Unit 3

Unit 3 Chemistry: In unit three we will continue with atomic structure beginning with Bohr’s model of the atom. We will then look at the electron cloud theory of the atom and introduce electron configuration notation. Students will practice this concept with both written and physical relationships. Next, we will look at the production of electromagnetic radiation through the movement of electrons in the atom. We will study the various properties of electromagnetic radiation through both experimentation and mathematical manipulations. Notes and Objectives
