Student Council (StuCo) is the student government at Memorial. Members of MHS Student Council must be in good academic standing and complete the application process in order to become members of MHS Student Council. Class presidents and MHS executive board memebers are selected by a voting process. StuCo represents the student body’s interests by attending regular MHS Student Council meetings and meetings with administration. In these meeting council members address student concerns, issue grants, and organize activities to promote school spirit. MHS Student Council organizes many different events throughout the school year to help the school and the community: Club Rush, Homecoming Dance and Carnival, Blood Drive, Grad Party, and Prom. If you’ve got suggestions, questions, concerns or comments on how to make MHS even better we want to know! Contact one of your representatives or find us on Facebook (Eau Claire Memorial Student Council) or on Twitter (@ecmhsstuco)! Student Council applications for the next school year will be available each spring for grades 10-12. 9th grade students may apply in the fall. Applications must be submitted by the due date in order to be eligible for consideration.
