Hitler's Eagle's Nest
The Kehlsteinhaus, or Hitler's tee house was built upon the Bavarian Alps near Berchtesgaden, Germany as a birthday present from the Nazi Party to Hitler for his 50th birthday.  The "Nest" was completed in 1938. Today, the mountaintop retreat serves as a restaurant.
