Special Olympics

The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with cognitive disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. Special Olympics Wisconsin Athlete Registration Volunteer Information Fill out this form and send it to the address listed to become a volunteer for ECASD Special Olympics. Print out, fill out and send this form back to the address at the bottom. Click here to follow the steps to become a certified volunteer for Special Olympics Wisconsin. Volunteers for practices are still needed. Volunteers must commit to a minimum of one day a week throughout the season. You DO NOT have to have previous knowledge about the sport to be a volunteer. Practice Calendars Elementary Bowling MIddle School Bowling High School Bowling Fundraising Perfect Split - a fundraiser where families sponsor their athlete for a flat amount for the bowling season. A really neat way for families to contribute to the program that is involved in their child's life. Country Jam Volunteer Opportunities - Country Jam provides us with some chances to make some money.  Contact Stephanie Travis for more information. Concessions - The ECASD Special Olympics program occasionally does fundraising through the sale of concessions at sporting events.
