The 1960's were filled with turbulance as the Civil Rights movement intensified, Cold War conflict continued, & a controversial war exploded in Vietnam bringing a wave of protest in the United States. New culture arose amongst the waves of change with the rise of the counter-culture movement, increase in Rock & Roll, & the invasion of British music.
