Hello! Welcome to 5B! I am excited to work with my group of Roosevelt Tigers this year! I enjoy teaching fifth grade; the final year of elementary school is filled with special and fun learning opportunities for kids. :-) 

Mrs. Ivey, the other fifth grade teacher at Roosevelt, and I work together to teach our students in the subjects of English/language arts, math, science, social studies and target time. Fifth graders also engage in art, music, and physical education classes. 

I've taught for eleven years, seven of which have been in fifth grade at Roosevelt Elementary. I attended UW-EC and earned my bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education in the area of learning disabilities. I'm from Eau Claire and graduated from North High School. 

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. We like to travel, camp, and spend time at a family cabin where we go boating, fishing, and swimming. You can also find my family and I riding the bike trails of Eau Claire, catching shows at Music at the Park, and playing at the Children's Museum.
