I am delighted to make music with Lakeshore students.  I’ve taught music in the Eau Claire schools since 1993-94.  I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota in 1992 and received my master’s in music education with a Kodaly emphasis from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota in 2002. 
 
I believe active music making is the goal of music education.  Students sing, move, play instruments, notate, create, read, write, improvise and compose in music class. 
 
I love spending time with my family; my husband, sons and dog.  Traveling, skiing, camping, reading, and walking the dog are activities I enjoy.
