District Goal
“We will improve English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Social Emotional Learning skills so that a minimum of 80% of students (aggregate and disaggregated) will demonstrate proficiency as identified in the ECASD benchmarks document by the end of the 2017-18 school year."

  1. We use a variety of assessment data to guide instruction and collaboration. 
  2. We define and share high achievement expectations and data with parents, community members, and students.
  3. We align our instruction to the common core state standards and use “I Can” statements to focus student learning goals.

  1. We embed social and emotional learning and community building throughout schedules and curriculum for students and staff.
  2. We identify and explicitly and consistently teacher behavior expectations with fidelity. (Safe learning environment.)
  3. We collaborate consistently using data-based decision making.

  1. We seek out and attend professional development to learn strategies that address the diverse needs of our students.
