Early Learning Programs

The Eau Claire Early Learning Programs provide quality education for preschool children. A variety of programs offer a proactive approach to ensure the success of our youngest students.

Available Preschool Programs in the Eau Claire Area School District are:

Eau Claire 4 Tomorrow

The Eau Claire 4 Tomorrow Program (EC4T) serves children who are 4 years old on or before September 1st. This is a voluntary 4K program implemented within the Eau Claire School District and community childcare and preschool centers. EC4T offers a variety of parent involvement opportunities.

Head Start

The Head Start program serves children who are 3 or 4 years old on or before September 1st. This is a federally funded program that has operated in the Eau Claire School District for over 35 years. Head Start provides quality education and comprehensive services to children and their families in partnership with the community. Priority enrollment is given to income-eligible families.

Early Childhood Special Education

The Early Childhood Special Education Program (ECSE) services children who are 3 or 4 years old and have been identified with special needs. This program offers itinerant, self-contained and combination services. ECSE offers a variety of resources for families.
