Food and Nutrition Employment

Working in ECASD Food and Nutrition has many perks.  Providing students with nutritious lunches is very rewarding and working around students provides an energetic and fun atmosphere.  But that is not all, Food & Nutrition employment allows you to work Monday through Friday and have holidays and summers off.  Positions range from 2 to 7 hours a day and vary in duties.  All Food & Nutrition employees are required to successfully complete the ServSafe Certification course and acquire a Food Manager License from the State of Wisconsin during their probationary period. Class fees and licensure are paid by the ECASD.

The Food and Nutrition Department also needs substitute employees.  The Eau Claire Area School District partners with EDUStaff to provide substitutes for the district.  Staff who have completed EDUStaff onboarding should email SchoolNutrition@ecasd.us to begin accepting work opportunities.
