School Board Commissioners Jasmine Case and Erica Zerr hosted the School Board’s annual “How to Run for School Board” informational session on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 7-8 pm at the Administration Building (500 Main Street). Anyone interested in learning more about how to become a candidate for the upcoming School Board election in Spring 2026  was welcome. The meeting covered the responsibilities of being a Board member and answer all questions from attendees. The necessary forms to declare candidacy were also available.

The deadline to file candidacy paperwork to appear on the ballot for the April 7, 2026, election is 5:00 pm on January 6, 2026.

The ECASD will be hosting a Spring Election on April 7, 2026. There will be two openings for a position for a three-year term from April 2026-April 2029. There will be one opening for the third place candidate to serve a one-year term through April 2027.
