Welcome to the Northwoods Elementary School webpage! Northwoods Elementary serves about 400 students from Kindergarten through Fifth grade. While located within the city of Eau Claire, the campus is surrounded by trees and it is not uncommon to see deer grazing or a flock of turkeys strolling through our athletic fields. At Northwoods, we want all of our students to soar like Eagles!

As a school we use Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS) to help ensure a positive and safe learning environment for all students.

We purposefully teach students what it looks like and what it means to be demonstrating SOARing behavior wherever they are in the school. Beyond SOARing behaviors, we also take pride in the rich learning opportunities in all of our classrooms that challenge each student and help them learn and grow.
