StartQ4.png
START OF QUARTER 4!
Welcome to the ARCTIC Zone Ms. Olson! She will be substituting for Ms. McMahon during Q4. During Q4 students will be working on TED Talks (Grade 8) and Book Groups (Grades 6-7) in Humanities. In CHILL Time they will be working on Film Fest, a Flex Board (see below for more information), and Passion Projects. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns!
FlexBoard_Icon.png
Q4 Flex Board
During Q4 instead of a major Flex Project, students will be completing a Flex Board. Flex Boards offer a variety of ELA, Science, and Social Studies mini Flex Projects valued at 10, 20, 30, and 40 points. Students look over the board, set a point goal for the quarter, and then complete the mini Flex Projects. They must complete a minimum of one activity in each content area. We will have weekly Flex Board check-ins to see where they are at in reaching their goal. Flex Board mini projects can all be worked on at home when necessary!
