Students at Northstar Middle School have access to the ARCTIC Zone, a personalized learning experience that allows them to fully explore their interests and passions in a way that excites them about the learning process.

The program's flexible pace empowers students to work through projects and content in a flexible way. Students also maintain choice in terms of how they learn and how they demonstrate their learning. When this is the case, we find they are more engaged and willing to take greater risks in their learning.
