Our School Resource Officer is a police officer from the Eau Claire Police Department that is assigned to a school as a liaison between the school district and the police department. SROs support school personnel and students with resources that promote academic success and improve school climates. SROs are also responsible for crisis management, community policing, school security, and conducting student-related investigations. 

About Officer Scott
Officer Scott moved to Eau Claire in 2012 and graduated from UW-Eau Claire with a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. Officer Scott was hired with the Eau Claire Police Department and has worked as a patrol officer since 2016. Officer Scott has several specialized areas of training in law enforcement including crisis negotiation and intervention and defensive tactics. She is also a police training officer. Officer Scott's dream job is to be a school resource officer and she is excited to serve at Memorial High School until 2026!
