Principal's Message

Welcome to Memorial High School, Home of the Old Abes!  

If you plan to visit us in person, our main entrance is door #15 which is located on the east side of the building, most accessible off Fairfax Street. (Our mailing address has changed to 2220 Fairfax St.). We have visitor parking near the entrance for your convenience. When you enter the building, check into the office to receive a visitor's pass.

Memorial High School offers a comprehensive educational experience for students. We do our very best to provide a vast array of academic and co-curricular opportunities to facilitate personal growth and challenge our student to "soar" to new heights.

Our staff is truly committed to student achievement; demonstrated by our commitment to post-secondary readiness preparation for each student. Our staff engages in continuous professional development, in order to design and collaborate regarding best educational practices.

The mission and vision of Memorial High School is to prepare our young people with the skills necessary to continue the educational path in becoming life-time learners. All stakeholders at MHS are dedicated to this task.

Students at Memorial practice and demonstrate respect, support, tolerance and responsibility in order to create a positive and safe environment for all.  It is a credit to the 1500+ students at MHS that we are routinely identified on both a state-wide and national level for success.
