UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE.

This is my first time dabbling in the fine art of website design. Though I find this very exciting, this cite is still sadly UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I appologize in advance for empty tabs and links that do not work.

WELCOME TO ART WITH MRS. DEHNE!

Hello, my name is Tracy Dehne and I teach 7th grade art as well as 8th grade Art & Design. To the left you will find classroom resources for 7th and 8th grade classes. I am currently in the process of building this website. If you are unable to find what you need, please don't hesitate to call or e-mail me.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I grew up in the small town of New London, WI. I relocated in 2005 to attend UW-Stout and received a BS in Art Education with a concentration in painting in 2010. I was hired at South in 2011 and I've been living the dream ever since. In my free time I enjoy painting, hiking with my husband Michael, and hanging out with my furry friends- Enzo, Diego, and Pedro.

Tech Crew

I am also the director of the Tech Crew for the school play. Together with my partner in crime, Sue Fulkerson (Gifted and Tallented teacher) we direct a small group of students to perform a fabulously entertainting play at the end of the first semester.

The Tech Crew works behind the scenes. We build sets and props, and we control the lights and sound. Students who are interested in being a part of the Tech Crew should visit the art room (Rm. 238). I will provide you with more details and an application to be part of the Crew.

ART ROOM WISH LIST

We are very fortunate to have a very reasonable art supply budget, but every now and again we need a little assistance. If you are willing and able to donate the items listed below the art department would be extremely grateful.

* Wood for the base of our sculptures (shown to the left). I am in need of roughly 300 small pieces of wood. Ideal size would be 3"x4"x1/2", but any size would do. Scraps work great! We will take whatever is cluttering up your garage.

*Old metal files for shaping sandstone blocks.
