CharacterStrong's advisory curriculum is CharacterStrong’s 6-12 social-emotional learning tool that the ECASD will be implementing in the upcoming 2022-23 school year. This curriculum will be a universal tool that the teachers will be implementing through-out the school year, which means all children will be participating in CharacterStrong lessons. 
 
The CharacterStrong advisory curriculum content includes the following: interpersonal skills to increase prosocial behavior, emotion management and regulation, mindfulness-based strategies, growth mindset, character virtues, values, and traits, and goal setting to drive future orientation. All-important skills for our students to have to be college and career ready.
