OPERATIONAL REFERENDUM 2016

Tax Calculator

The School Board recently adopted the 2016-17 budget for the Eau Claire Area School District.  If the referendum passes, the mill rate will be $9.77 per $1,000 of property value.  This means that instead of taxpayers paying 95 cents per $1,000 of property value, they will pay 37 cents per $1,000 of property value for the 2016-17 school year
.

There are two tax calculators shown below.  One shows the impact of 37 cents per $1,000 of property value for the 2016-17 school year (due to an increase in state aid) and the other shows the impact based on 95 cents per $1,000 of property value, which is the maximum taxable impact to property owners for years two through fifteen for the referendum. The 95 cents maximum will vary depending on the state aid the District receives each year.
