GATEWAYS is a community-based transition option in the Eau Claire Area School District.  Students who qualify for individualized special education services with IEPs will work with their teams to determine if they have needs for school services beyond their high school experience.  Transition focused programming supports the transition from school services to adult life for young adult students.  This community-based programming option provides gateways for young adults to develop skills and knowledge to lead empowered meaningful lives and achieve their lifelong goals.
