All Schools Grant Application Cycle

Fall Due Date – October 15, 2014 Winter Due Date - January 15, 2015

Up to $1,000 grants for: projects - professional devlopment  - greatest needs -  guest speakers - educational events - value added learning opportunities - special needs  - collaborations - workshops - unique learning - addressing equity - post secondary readiness
The Eau Claire Public Schools Foundation Trustees are seeking applications for grant funds to support projects or programs that provide our students with value-added learning opportunities or fulfill their greatest needs. Preference will be given for innovative projects that go beyond purchase of supplemental basic curriculum, books, teaching materials, technology, and supplies.
Awards are governed by the established policies and award decisions will be made by the ECPSF Allocations Committee and the Board of Trustees at the fall meeting, October 28, 2014 and the winter meeting January 27, 2015. Grantees will be honored with a school visit and check presentation.

Eligibility: Applicants must be ECASD instructional or departmental staff with a signature from their school principal or building supervisor. Other serving ECASD children may apply with of ECPSF.

Goals: The foundation wishes to support innovative and/or creative projects that fulfill the following:
  • Provide value added, innovative and enriching educational opportunities
  • Motivate and inspire students
  • Compliment the mission and vision of the ECASD
  • Fulfill greatest needs that will enhance learning and promote equity
 Selection Criteria: Grants will evaluated on a competitive basis guided by the following criteria.
  1. The application is signed by the principal of the applying school.
  2. The project addresses the goals and goes beyond the purchase of: basic curriculum materials, books, or technology which are already a part of the ECASD budget and curriculum plan.
  3. The project is clearly described.
  4. The objectives are clearly stated and educationally sound.
  5. The budget is reasonable, complete, and sufficient to complete the project.
